Special Interview and Collaboration with R. R. Memorandum

Hello, everyone!

As many of you may already know, a special collaboration was done recently with the UK based brand and shop, R. R. Memorandum.  At the end of 2020, I was finally able to collaborate with the wonderful mastermind behind the brand, Katherine Rose, on doing a special collection exclusive to our UK (and EU) customers.

We wanted to invoke the feelings of nostalgia that many remember from their youth in the UK countryside, and to mix that with the Victorian mourning symbolism that preserves that nostalgia and beauty for eternity.  From these ideas we created our collaboration- a collection of stained glass coffins encasing dried English lavender that symbolizes the beauty of English gardens.  Just looking at this soft purple flower through the glass can bring memories of its fragrance and the feeling of cool, dewey morning air.

The collection was an immense success, and was a fantastic way to start a beautiful creative partnership with our friends in the UK.  Due to Brexit changes that were implemented on January 1st, it was imperative that we had this collection completed and out the door before then, so it was a rush to beat the clock to get these delivered and we were able to make that deadline.  Unfortunately at this time we are still trying to work out the kinks on how to bring more Néant to the UK, as orders directly from me have been suspended for the time being, but with this partnership and experience from both brands we will hopefully be able to figure it out soon.

In the meantime, please enjoy this wonderful interview conducted by Lucy May at R.R. Memorandum:
