"Le Vitrail" Project
Néant Glass presents "Le Vitrail" - a new fashion and arts publication for the global EGL/alternative fashion community, coming in 2025!
This project is something I've wanted to do for many years, but it was not feasible until now. With our phenomenal team of 15 artists, writers, editors, translators, and photographers, I have secured an opportunity to create a publication that delivers the GLB and Kera Magazine nostalgia we've all been longing to see again, with the highest quality production.
This publication is created in the style of the Gothic Lolita Bibles, but is updated for modern readers and expands upon the original idea with more content outside of Japan and North America. Le Vitrail features brand interviews from Japanese fashion leaders such as Atelier Pierrot and H.Naoto, global indie brands such as Cruel Arcadia, WireHead Shop, and Violet Fane, and several more. There are street snap collages from around the world, a look into the Japanese underground music scene, original illustrations, recipes, photography highlights, and so much more! There will be over 100 pages to dive into of high-quality fashion, music, art, and literature content.
The publication is in production now, and will be printing by early October, 2025 to arrive in time for Halloween.
But! We need to make sure we have the funding to make this project successful, so please check out our Kickstarter preview and consider becoming a backer when it goes live! The Kickstarter is where you can preorder both digital and physical copies of the book (with extras!), but there are many tiers to participate in if you want more. We're offering unique bonus items including T-shirts, tote bags, tea cups, tapestry blankets, very coveted Néant Glass lucky packs, and for the first time ever custom commission slots!
The Kickstarter Preview will go live this week- please check back! We are confirming some final details.
There is so much amazing stuff to share about this project, but I'll have to slowly release info so as to not spoil anything. We're unsure at this time if this will be a periodical, but we're putting our all into making it as great as possible so this could possibly become a recurring new addition to Néant's offerings.
The aim of this project is to bring back a piece of enjoyable physical media that can be revisited and appreciated for years, but also to create a bridge in the scene to help spread art and community across cultures when misunderstanding seems to be at a high. We're all part of the same wonderful hobbies and sub-culture, so hopefully Le Vitrail will serve as a window to other communities and be a way we can all connect and learn more about each other.
Thank you so much for your support! I'm so thrilled to see what everyone thinks about this project 🖤
